"I want all LGBTQ+ people to live with equal rights, no discrimination, or bullying. Until we can educate the public, that will never happen, and we have been doing just that. But our mission is far from complete." - Shelly Snyder, pictured above with her transgender daughter Gwyneth

WELCOME TO Ohio river valley pride coalition's website!

This group started as a simple meet and greet in my living room. At that point, I saw the real need for a support system for those who came and shared their stories.  I held this meeting because I did not want other LQBTQ+ individuals experiencing the hate, discrimination, bullying, threats, and assaults my transgender daughter has survived.

This group has become family. They gave my teenage daughter the strength and support to come out as pansexual to her friends. I want all LGBTQ+ people to live with equal rights, no discrimination, or bullying. Until we can educate the public, that will never happen, and we have been doing just that. But our mission is far from complete.

Thank you for visiting our site, and thank you for your support.
