Shelly Snyder, Founder and COO

Shelly Snyder is the bisexual mother of a transgender daughter, Gwyneth, and a teenage pansexual daughter. As soon as Gwyn came out as trans, Shelly began researching and educating herself on the multitude of issues that trans people face in America on a daily basis. Shelly began a support group for LGBTQ+ people in Dearborn County that started as a simple meeting in her home, but has now grown into a full non-profit organization that you know as Ohio River Valley Pride Coalition.

Shelly often takes trans members to their doctor appointments, assists with gender marker changes, and works heavily on community outreach and advocacy.
